I love playing the waiting game lol
best game after haitus-kun also the cats where like granny be gone lmao
Spice and Wolf. Still waiting…
What's gonna happen first a new spice and wolf season or hxh ending/continuing? xD
Only this waiting game is only like 3 months away lol.
This is a good year for anime sequels.
Second cour; Yes! I don't mind waiting until October. If they'd left us with "waiting for two or three years and then...maybe" then this would have sucked.
Why did it had to end like that I need more!
Yeah, but also I somewhat feel like he's manipulating her or something...
Though that's probably just his personality
Didn’t he feed on her anger or something? So I guess when he gets hungry, you just rile up a teenager and you’re fed, Bone apple teeth!
Looks like we're going into over time. Score!
Go Go Gorgon!
I'd have taken her too, lol if only the protagonist was a guy I'd have shipped her with him, but nevermind, I like Chise as MC too.
For a second I thought Alice was going to suplex Renfred when she got behind him after kicking him, lol
Trick or treat? lol
With Alice you get both, since her treats are bound to be tricky, but being tricked by her is sure to be a treat! XD
He's kinda deserve lol
As did I, but apparently her sense of fairness won't let her do that while he's un-armed. ;D
I wanted her to do it.
So did she
XD
Headmistress was MVP for basically telling Philomela’s grandmother to f*ck off lol
10/10 satisfying seeing evil grandmother get f'd up. 😋😋
2nd cour fall 2023
Poggers lol
Well that's fitting, the vibe of this anime really is Fall-toned, at least IMO. Plus it just means you'll have another opportunity to Fall in love with the story. ;D
Of course, I know that such a sentiment doesn't fit everyone, I don't want my think to sound fallacious after(f)all. XD
Yeah i’v heard
It didn't really feel like a last episode but then I saw that it's actually a split cour so we'll see the second part of this season in October.
Lol I knew the only way they could see the plant was if they had killed someone before, quite the dark reason.
I am glad Lucy and Seth have finally opened up like this and looks like their relationship will finally start getting better. It was sad how he constantly kept holding back from comforting her, it's really obvious how much he cares for her.
I am surprised Isaac just took Philomela away from her grandmother, I'm curious to learn what his relationship with her is like and how it came about.
Yeah seeing the 3 of them together made me think of what they had in common and that was the first thing that came to mind.
I was torn between if the requirement for seeing the plant was just plain "harming" someone or actually the the proper ending of someone.
Its killing. Only those who have killed can see the plants. In Chise's case she killed that one centaur fae, and since her soul is tied to Ruth's they combined killed the creation that was Cartiphilus' bastardization of Ruth's owner. I think Chise might have one more kill count underneath her belt but those are the main ones.
I mean yes i know that now i was more specifically talking about the time between the plant being talked about and it being revealed that you'd have to have killed someone in order to see it. ^^
The cats are still cute ;3
Cats are cute little murder machines...
Reminds of this horror movie where a cat was a monster murdering people (X_X)
I don't know any such story, besides folk tales of Bakeneko and Nekomata...
I rather have to think of half a dozen different stories about killer bunnies...
I mean a regular cat that was killing people, in one scene of that movie that cat jump in a guys face and shove it's way in his mouth and through is throat into his stomach.. dude died and sometime later which was the next scene another person came into the room and notice the body where they trying to call the police and the cat came out the same way it went in.
liza luna from too cute crisis would love them
Second cour starts on October 5th let's gooo!!! (There are really many sequels coming in fall huh? Not that I'm complaining 👍)
Whoa, it's really cool how Joseph can swap with Chise like that.
Wait, so if the other three also can see the flower does that mean that they have killed someone in the past? Dark.
13:06 Animation error? I think Alice is supposed to be talking here
Yeaaahhh let's go Principal! She was badass!
Whoa, well hello there Eye of Sauron. What's up with it? That's the one who has the book maybe?
This had really good production quality despite not being that popular. I hope this doesn't change with the second cour in October!
9/10
You bring up a good point, my take is that it's not that Joseph swaps with her per se', more like he's connected to her enough that the other fellow recognized he wouldn't be messing with just Chise, since part of Chise belongs to Joseph and he can share her consciousness/experience to a degree.
I rewatched 13:06 and I was looking at it as Alice is thinking the dialogue about Adolf and we are hearing her thoughts. Could be wrong though.
FF ol' buddy! Chise's EYE is Joe's... and Joe has Chise's eye in return. Chise and Joe and Cart came to an 'agreement' that the 'boys' would help keep Chise alive with their curse of immortality to keep the dragon's curse at bay and increase Chise's lifespan since Sleigh Beggys die at a young age. i can't recall (or it might not have been revealed in S1) what the 'boys' get out of the agreement. so technically the three are connected since part of the 'boys' exists inside Chise all the time. it is more like carrying a laptop with nigh on everything concerning the 'boys' existence in it and accessible by Chise... but the laptop is also connected to the 'boys' mainframe.
Joe doesn't have her eye anymore. She took it out when she confronted him as with it in him, she couldn't put him to sleep.
shrug, i'm uncertain of that one. i would have to look that back up.
I finished rewatching season 1 last week. Even now in season 2 when u see Joseph, his left eye is black because it's missing.
Hey that's a good analogy, well put! I was aware of the "parts swap" that occurred previously, so I know that they're connected, I just meant that Joseph was aware of this other Fellow and when he tried to impose upon Chise then He became aware of Joseph as well, especially since Joseph came through at that time and made his presence known. So I got that part and that's what I was articulating. Though now that we are discussing it, what I am not aware of is just how much Influence Joseph has in regards to what he can manifest through Chise at a distance and thus how much of a "presence" he can bring forth in such situations. We know he can do SOME things, but what the outer extent of his limit is at the time is not something I'm currently able to quantify.
(P.s. Sorry for the ridiculously late replies on some of your comments. Until today, I haven't had time to log in and actually comment and reply to comments for quite awhile now other than one or two brief moments where I was rushed for time.)
not a problem on the delay ol buddy. :> real life is 'cat'amount in importance as ever. ;>
yeah, levels of influence are iffy at best to say right now. Chise and Joe are only 'cohabitating' in her body (and her in his) for ahhh i think it is past the six-month point as ep12 goes in the timeline. seasonal cues and all in S1 and S2 P1. Chise is getting more and more of Joe's memories BUT i'm definitely sure she has NOT 'wound back the clock' to Cartaphilus' memories before he and Joe conjoined. along with those memories i'm 'postulating' that Joe/Carty is giving Chise's 'bad angel' some subconscious tips and tricks... the dragon arm going wonky and Chise 'Hulking-out' now and again when she's threatened are my plot-points i'm referencing. she's been a shrinking violet and not 'fighting back' so far in her whole life with 'The Neighbors' even with Elias and Lindel's teachings. but, The Curse of the Cats from S1 is the other side of Chise's coin. forgive and yet never forget, so to speak. i think Joe/Carty is showing Chise that 'balance' has to include violence and self-preservation, or she'll be a victim until she dies.
Those are some apt points of mention, admittedly not all of them were things I had considered in much depth. Thank You for this, It seems my thoughts are going to be well fed for a little while. ;D
enjoy the meal! ;> i'm glad you got something tasty out of my ideas. :D
You know it brother, whether they are something that one can sink their proverbial teeth into, or instead offer up a serving of "tongue in cheek" commentary. You always bring the goods! ;D XD
pork tongue in smoked jowl... so to speak? ;> heh! ;>
Love that scene when Wills-O-Wisp climbs back to Alice. That was somewhat cute.
Lizbeth: "She's useless"
Isacc: "Then I'll take her, you're welcome!"
That was such a chad move, NGL.
Never expected this to end up in a cliffhanger. And it has just been announced that the second part is coming on October 5. Can't wait for it!
